Sin

This drawing was created in the fall of 2021. Its media is colored lead and 18x24” white drawing paper. The three cityscapes in this drawing refer to the Bund in Shanghai and the SCAD campus in Atlanta, respectively. The design of the monster in its composition refers to the description of the Seven Deadly Sins. Composition The monster occupying the city in the middle expresses that my heart is eroded by negative emotions, while the composition in the lower right corner expresses that I am examining my own negative emotions.
